'Build a Boiler' Winners assemble on the production line

  • First-ever Build a Boiler day held at our Worcester Headquarters
  • Nine lucky winners invited to build and take home their very own Greenstar i
  • Closest time to our production line standard of 120 seconds also won a Wave

Nine lucky installers have gone away with a brand new boiler made by their own fair hands, after testing their skills on our factory floor as part of our first ever ‘Build a Boiler’ competition.

Winners were invited to experience our innovative manufacturing process first-hand as they constructed their very own Greenstar i on the factory floor. Getting a closer look at one of our four ‘lean’ assembly lines, the installers were given the chance to get hands on with the 623 parts and 441 process steps that go into every one of our boilers.

The winners then worked against the clock in a final manufacturing challenge, with the time closest to our production line standard of 120 seconds also winning a Wave internet-connected controller.
